How long does it take to get a carport or building assembled on my site?
Most units are assembled in less than a day. In some cases, it may take two days depending upon the size of the building.
If installing a garage door what leg height do I need?
If installing a garage door centered on the end (width of building) the leg height can be the same height as the garage door. If installing two garage doors on the end (depending on width of building) the legs need to be 1 foot to two feet taller than the doors. If installing a garage door on the side (length of building) the legs need to be 2 feet taller than the door. Please feel free to call our office at 813-779-7433.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, cancellations within (5) business days of sales order receipt will be credited back their deposit minus any applicable bank fees. Cancellations must be received in writing to qualify. Order cancellations after free time will forfeit the deposit according to contract terms.
What is the standard warranty?
Bennett offers the best standard warranty in the business. We call it the 10/12/20 warranty. The exterior panels carry a 10 year warranty, 12 months coverage on workmanship and a 20 year rust-through warranty on all structural tubing. Bennett can offer this warranty because the materials that go into our buildings are superior to that of other manufacturers.
What are the standard sizes available for steel buildings?
Standard sizes range from 12’ wide to 50’ wide free span. Lean-to sides can be added that will expand your building to a width of 80′. Special orders are taken at request so feel free to call one of our sales associates with questions.
Can I change my order?
Yes, your order can be changed up to the point it is released for production. Call our factory customer care team at 813-779-7433 to request changes, and we will make every effort to modify your order. Please note, an additional deposit may be required if the cost of the structure increases.
Will my structure be anchored to the ground?
Yes, all buildings are anchored in accordance with the installation surface. 30 inch Rebar drive anchors are used for ground and asphalt installations. High wind anchors may also be required depending on local and state zoning. Cement pads will have wedge anchors installed to secure the structure to the pad.
How tall can I make my building?
Steel Buildings can be ordered with legs from 5 to 20 feet depending on roof type. The roof system will add approximately 1.5 inches of additional height at roof center for every one foot of width. For example, a 24 foot wide building will have an additional 36 inches of roof height.
What is the typical length of time to get my building after I place my order?
Most buildings are installed within 30 days although it can take up to 6 weeks depending on your location and the time of the year. Buildings rarely take longer than 6 weeks. Our staff of trained professionals will work hard to ensure the quickest possible installation. Sheds take 7-10 Business days to get to the lot and it’s just a matter of scheduling delivery to your property.
What colors do you offer? Is there an extra charge for multiple colors?
All standard colors are listed in our color chart. Special colors are rare but can be ordered upon request. There is no extra charge for multi-colored buildings.
Does the price include delivery and installation?
All Bennett buildings are priced to include delivery and installation. The price that you receive is the turnkey price for our products.
